Andrea Nicholas, Vocal Alchemist & Sound Healing Practitioner, visiting artist from Austin, TX, will lead this event.
Enter a sound journey where the voice itself becomes a beacon. Beginning with a short meditation to invite you into the body, then opening the current of Vocal Alchemy: channeled song emerging in the moment, woven into a tapestry of crystal bowls and sound healing instruments. At times it may be ethereal and angelic and in other moments primal and ancient.
No two transmissions are ever the same…each soundscape offers its own singular experience, guiding you into remembrance. This sound healing journey creates a deeply restorative atmosphere where the mind can quiet and the body can settle.
Event Schedule
Please arrive between 2:45 and 3:00 PM. The event will begin promptly at 3:00 and doors will close with entry no longer permitted to maintain the integrity of the space.
2:45 PM - Doors Open
3:00 PM - Introductions, guided meditation, essential oils + sound bath
4:30 PM - Shares, community & connection
Location
This event will be held in an event space located next door to Ebb & Float - Downtown. Look for the courtyard with a tree beside our building and follow the ramp up to the double doors. We will be there to greet you.
What to Expect:
This experience is for anyone who is ready to experience what it is like to remember what it feels like to deeply rest, reconnect with their inmost self, and to be moved by sound in a way that words can’t reach.
Vocal Alchemy isn’t a performance; it’s a living transmission.
Each layer of voice arises in the moment, attuned to the energy of the group, creating a soundscape that can soothe the nervous system, open new perspectives, and awaken a sense of wonder. When woven together with the crystal bowls and other healing instruments, it invites a deep restoration. People attend this event to experience something they cannot access in ordinary life: a living transmission of sound that meets them exactly where they are.
How to Register
Space is limited! Sign Up for this event in the Event Room section of our booking site. By signing up for this event, you are securing your seat with the purchase of a ticket. Please note, selecting 'reserve a card on file and pay at checkout' will still result in the full ticket charge, and cancellations will not be accepted once a reservation is made.
Event Cancellation Policies
All event ticket sales are final. Event tickets are non-refundable, but you may transfer your ticket to another person if you can no longer attend.
What to Bring:
Wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothing
Bring any yoga mat, blankets or cushions as desired, you will be invited to lay down
Bring a notepad + pen to journal any insights or guidance you receive
Bring an eye mask if you wish
Bring a water bottle to stay well-hydrated
Parking
Free parking is available in any space in the Ebb & Float surface lot located on the south side of the building (look for the Warehouse District Mural). If this lot is full, paid parking is available on 5th St or in the paid surface lot on 4th St.
Sensory Information
This ceremony involves the use of sensory tools. If at any point you become overwhelmed, or uncomfortable you are welcome to take a break while remaining courteous of other participants.
Scent: To create the ceremonial space, practitioners may use/burn herbal smudge sticks (sage), palo santo (wood), or incense as tools.
Sound: Practitioners may use a range of aural stimuli including voice, crystal bowls, and other musical instruments.

Meet Your Facilitator
Andrea Nicholas has worked with the art of sound healing for over a decade and birthed Vocal Alchemy in 2011.
Since then, she has offered soundscapes and Vocal Alchemy song transmissions at sacred sites across the globe - pyramids, temples, cathedrals, & other holy places where ancient echoes meet present prayer. In addition, she delighted in curating sound experiences at private events, ceremonies, and festivals internationally.
Her work also includes guiding people through the journey of Voice Activation - supporting them in reclaiming their vocal expression and connect with the unique soul songs that live within them.
Beyond the realm of sound, Andrea works with women around revivifying the full spectrum of their womanhood. Reigniting their inner wisdom of the feminine arts, cyclical living, rewilding, embodiment, and beyond.
She is currently based in Austin, TX where she founded the Austin Women’s Collective.
