Join the Ebb & Float team as a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) at our flagship downtown location, 231 N 5th St., Columbus, Ohio — now hiring for part-time positions.

We are seeking career-minded, experienced massage therapists who offer Swedish and Deep Tissue massage, in addition to other specialized treatments. If your work is an expression of equal parts passion and talent, join our team to help us continue the growth of our bodywork offerings.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Provides superior massage experiences and bodywork treatments

  • Holds a high standard of guest service and professional client rapport

  • Prepares each treatment according to Ebb & Float standards

  • Conducts a thorough client intake in order to form a connection with each guest, listen to concerns, discuss a treatment plan, and provide education on the benefits of services performed

  • Holds space for a post-treatment conversation to support aftercare and offers recommendations for clients to enhance their wellness practices

  • Consistently provides exceptional treatments and receives high praise from clients

  • Acts as a steward of the Ebb & Float brand, ensuring that all treatments meet and exceed Ebb & Float standards

  • Always seeking to improve skills and offerings

Treatment Specializations:

  • Swedish massage (required)

  • Deep tissue massage (required)

At least one (1) additional specialization with proper certification/training:

  • Prenatal massage

  • Sports massage

  • Medical massage

  • Stretching

  • Cupping therapy

  • Reflexology

  • Lymphatic

  • Hot Stone Massage

  • Ashiatsu

  • IASTM (Scraping or Gua Sha)

Requirements

  • Current and Valid Ohio Massage Therapy License

  • Minimum 1 year of massage experience required to apply

  • Passion for health and wellness

  • Considers massage therapy to be a calling and a professional career path

  • Must be a team player, reliable, hard-working, and able to offer a consistent schedule with evening and weekend availability

  • Able to perform up to 6 hours of massage at a time

  • Eagerness to pursue continuing education and training

  • Willing to provide at least 2 professional references in addition to 2 previous, publicly viewable client reviews
